CMRA Bursary Application

CMRA will provide two (2) five hundred dollar ($500) bursaries to graduating, grade 12, CMRA players per year. These bursaries recognize contributions to ringette, and are awarded to encourage and assist in the pursuit and attainment of higher education.

Application must be submitted in PDF format only by email to secretary@coqmoodyringette.com

Bursary cheques will be made out to the Institution (school) the winner will be attending. Cheques cannot be made out to individuals.

Bursaries will be awarded at the CMRA Annual General Meeting in April and if at all possible, winners are expected to attend to receive the bursary.

Please include the following with your application

- Copy of your most recent transcript. Although you will not be judged on academic

achievement alone, we would like you to forward your last school transcript to show your

school standing

- Two (2) reference letters. We would like to see reference letters from your teachers,

coach, association executive members, employer or anyone you can think can best

describe the following:

1. Your demonstrated commitment to the sport of ringette by participation in various

aspects of the sport (i.e. player, coach, referee, volunteer, etc).

2. You’re being a good student - helpful, upstanding, team player, involved

positively in your community, etc.
